In addition, Kae is a certified consultant in the Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care™, a highly effective program that provides a positive approach to brain change and living well with dementia.
She regularly receives referrals from medical and legal professionals as well as from her regional Alzheimer’s Association. More than anything, she believes it is referrals from highly satisfied clients that best validate her diligent performance.
How did Kae become this qualified to help you?
As she likes to say, she acquired a tremendous education by being “in the trenches” as she cared for her mother with Alzheimer’s. And then, once she placed her in a residential care home, Kae became her mother’s care manager. During this time, Kae spent well over two years conscientiously researching to find the most accurate and qualified information and resources about Alzheimer’s and related dementias.
Determined to maximize her effectiveness, Kae quickly realized the need for a comprehensive guidebook for people like her, which was the impetus for publishing her book.
Fast forward to today. With more than eight years of immersive experience, beginning initially with her own mother’s care, Kae Hammond has become a respected advocate and trusted advisor as well as a subject matter expert.
